Applications

The Wellfleet BCN platform was deployed in backbone and core networking roles within enterprises and service provider networks during the 1990s-2000s. These chassis supported various Wellfleet line cards for routing, switching, and concentration. The modular architecture allowed configuration for different network topologies and traffic types. Replacement or expansion of installed modules requires compatible Wellfleet BCN circuit boards.

This Wellfleet 73000 BCN Backbone Concentrator Node is being sold AS-IS for parts or repair. It has not been tested or powered at our facility and no functionality is guaranteed. The chassis is physically intact with the card cage populated with circuit boards, dual 620W hot-swap power modules installed, and the Wellfleet power cable included. The exterior shows typical wear consistent with prior data center use — light scuffing and some discoloration on the cream-colored front panels.
