The Wavemat CDL-300 is a rackmount RF reflectometer designed to monitor both forward and reflected power in 2.45 GHz microwave systems at power levels from 0 to 300 watts. It displays both measurements simultaneously on two front-panel digital meters, allowing operators to monitor power delivery and reflected power in real time. Applications
The CDL-300 is used as an in-line RF power monitor in 2.45 GHz microwave processing systems — the ISM-band frequency widely used in industrial microwave heating, materials processing, plasma generation, and chemical vapor deposition (CVD) applications. By measuring both the forward power delivered toward the load and the reflected power returning from it, the instrument lets process engineers monitor impedance matching and calculate actual absorbed power. High reflected power indicates a mismatch between the microwave source and the applicator or cavity, which can damage the magnetron or power amplifier; the CDL-300 gives operators the real-time data needed to tune the system and protect the source. Wavemat was a recognized maker of microwave processing systems and accessories during the 1990s and early 2000s, and equipment like the CDL-300 was found in university research labs, semiconductor processing facilities, and industrial microwave processing lines. This Wavemat CDL-300 RF Reflectometer has been inspected and powers on. The unit is in good used condition overall. The black front panel shows light wear consistent with lab use, and the rear aluminum panel is clean. Both digital panel meters and the front-panel power switch are functional. The integrated UTE Microwave directional coupler on the rear is present and intact, with N-female connectors on both the RF OUT and RF IN ports.
