Description
ViewSonic N1300 VS10179-1M 13" 480P EDTV LCD TV Monitor 640x480 S-Video
The ViewSonic N1300 is a 13-inch 480P EDTV LCD flat-panel display that functions as both a television and a computer monitor. It accepts a wide range of video inputs — including S-Video, composite, component (YCbCr), and RF — making it compatible with computers, DVD players, VCRs, game consoles, and cable or satellite receivers. The display panel delivers a native 640x480 resolution suited to standard-definition 480P content. Note: the built-in audio has been tested and does not work — buyers requiring sound will need an external audio solution.

Applications
The N1300 belongs to a category of small-screen LCD combo displays that emerged in the early-to-mid 2000s, when manufacturers began offering flat-panel TVs that could also serve as PC monitors. At 13 inches and 480P, units like this were targeted at dorm rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, and small office or reception-area setups where a compact all-in-one display was practical. The broad input set — S-Video, composite, component, and RF — made it compatible with virtually every standard-definition source of its era: DVD players, VCRs, gaming consoles (PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube), satellite and cable set-top boxes, and analog PC output via scan converters. Today these units are occasionally sought for retro gaming setups, period-correct computer displays, or vintage AV configurations where a small 4:3 flat panel with multiple analog inputs is useful. The universal 100–240V power supply makes it usable worldwide.
This ViewSonic N1300 VS10179-1M 13" 480P EDTV LCD TV/monitor has been inspected and powers on. The display functions and shows a picture. However, the built-in audio was tested and does not work — the speaker/audio output is non-functional. Buyers needing audio should plan to use an external speaker or audio system. The unit shows typical cosmetic wear for its age, including some light scuffing and surface marks on the rear panel and cabinet. It comes with the original pedestal stand and AC power cable.
