The ViewSonic VP181s was part of ViewSonic's VP (Visual Performance) series, a professional-grade monitor line aimed at graphic designers, CAD users, financial workstations, and office productivity environments in the mid-2000s. The 18.1-inch SXGA panel with a 5:4 aspect ratio was well suited to displaying full-page documents and vertical spreadsheets, and the pivot capability allowed users to rotate the display to portrait orientation for reading and coding tasks. The dual VGA and DVI-I inputs made it easy to share between two computers or connect to both analog and digital sources. The integrated USB hub was a practical convenience for keyboards, mice, and peripherals at the desk. Today, these monitors are commonly used as secondary displays, legacy workstation replacements, or in environments running older hardware that still outputs VGA or DVI signals.
This ViewSonic VP181s 18.1" LCD Monitor has visible scuffing and surface scratches on the screen, which are clearly shown in the photos — buyers should review the screen-surface image carefully before purchasing. A small plastic piece on the rear housing is also missing. The stand is present and intact, and all rear ports (DVI-I, VGA, USB) are visible and appear undamaged. The monitor was pulled from a working environment where it was previously in use; it has not been bench-tested at our facility. Priced to reflect the noted screen condition.
