Applications

The USSC Roticulator Endo Grasp line was designed for use in laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgical procedures, where the articulating shaft allowed surgeons to approach tissue at angles not possible with a straight instrument. The 5mm diameter was a standard size for trocar compatibility in general laparoscopic surgery. USSC's Auto-Suture brand was one of the leading names in disposable laparoscopic instrumentation during the 1990s, when minimally invasive surgery was rapidly expanding as a surgical standard. This particular instrument dates from that era. Today this unit is being offered solely for antique, collectible, display, or prop purposes — it is expired and not for clinical use.
