Description
PC Power & Cooling Turbo-Cool 400 Slim AT Power Supply 400W 115/230V
The PC Power & Cooling Turbo-Cool 400 Slim is a 400-watt AT-form-factor power supply built for slim desktop computers using the AT motherboard standard. PC Power & Cooling (PPC) was a California-based manufacturer well known in the 1990s for producing higher-quality, more reliable power supplies than typical OEM units of the era. The Turbo-Cool line was their flagship series, targeting system builders and integrators who needed dependable power for performance workstations and servers.

Applications
The AT power supply standard preceded ATX and was used in IBM PC/XT, PC/AT, and compatible desktop computers through the mid-to-late 1990s. AT power supplies use a P8/P9 split motherboard connector and are controlled by a hard power switch wired directly through the supply — unlike ATX, which uses a soft power signal. The Slim AT form factor fits the smaller chassis common in business desktops of the era, such as those built around Intel 486 and early Pentium platforms. Today these supplies are primarily sought by collectors and technicians maintaining or restoring vintage AT-class systems, as well as operators keeping legacy industrial or embedded AT-motherboard equipment running. The Turbo-Cool 400 Slim's strong +5V output (36A) made it well suited for CPU- and ISA-card-heavy configurations typical of that generation.
This PC Power & Cooling Turbo-Cool 400 Slim AT Power Supply has been bench-tested at our facility and is in good working condition. The unit powers on and delivers output across all rails. The case shows the typical light scuffing and surface wear expected on used equipment of this vintage. The full wiring harness is intact, including the AT motherboard connector (P8/P9), Molex 4-pin peripheral connectors, floppy power connectors, and the AT power switch connector.
