Applications
Benchtop power supplies of this class are used for laboratory testing, equipment servicing, and prototype development. The dual voltage/current modes support work with low-voltage logic circuits, analog instrumentation, and industrial electronics. Linear designs of this era were standard in service shops and labs for powering test equipment, charging batteries, and troubleshooting discrete and integrated circuit boards.
This Trygon Electronics HR40-750 benchtop DC power supply has been inspected and is in good used condition. It was pulled from a working environment where it was previously in use. The chassis shows age-appropriate wear consistent with a unit from the early 1970s — the front panel has some discoloration and light grime, and the rear brass-finish panel shows oxidation and surface patina. The analog meter face and controls appear intact. The internal circuit boards and wiring are visible in our photos and appear complete and undamaged. Please view our photo set and contact us if you have any questions.
