Applications
The Toshiba Satellite 2755 series dates from the late 1990s, a period when Pentium III-class notebooks were among the most capable portable computers available for business and home use. These laptops typically ran Windows 98 or Windows 2000 and were notable at the time for integrating DVD-ROM drives in a portable form factor. Today this unit is suited for parts harvesting — the motherboard, LCD assembly, keyboard, optical drive, floppy drive, port panel, and housing components may all be of value to someone repairing another Satellite 2755 system. The unit could also interest vintage computing collectors or hobbyists working to restore late-1990s Toshiba hardware.
This Toshiba Satellite 2755DVD PS275U laptop is being sold AS-IS for parts or repair. The battery is depleted and no AC adapter is included. The unit does boot to a C:\ prompt but then shuts down shortly afterward — the underlying cause has not been diagnosed. No warranty is provided.
