Applications

The Toshiba P351C is a dot matrix impact printer, and this ribbon cartridge is the consumable ink supply it requires. Dot matrix printers like the P351C use an array of pins that strike an inked fabric ribbon against the paper to form characters — a technology that was widely used in business environments from the late 1970s through the 1990s for receipts, invoices, multi-part forms, and other printed output requiring a physical impact. The P351C was a compact desktop dot matrix unit positioned for small business and POS use. Replacement ribbons for older dot matrix printers are often difficult to find new, making used stock a practical option for anyone still operating legacy systems that require this printer.
