Applications
External battery chargers like the PA3063U-1CHG are designed for mobile professionals who need extended away-from-outlet runtime. Rather than charging through the laptop itself, the charger base accepts a Toshiba PA3049U battery pack directly, freeing the laptop for continuous use while a spare charges in parallel. This unit is designed for the Toshiba Tecra 8200, a late-1990s to early-2000s business-class notebook from Toshiba's Tecra line. The Tecra series was Toshiba's flagship corporate laptop range of that era, and external battery chargers were a popular business accessory for road warriors, field technicians, and enterprise users who needed all-day mobility without access to a power outlet.
This Toshiba PA3063U-1CHG Battery Charger Kit is new and unused. The unit shown is in its original Toshiba retail box with the charging base, PA3049U AC adapter, power cord, and instruction booklet all present. Some units in our inventory may not include the original box. Please view our photo set and contact us if you have any questions.
