Description

Times Microwave SMA-Male to SMA-Female Coaxial RF Cable ~8 ft RG174

This is a Times Microwave coaxial RF cable terminated with an SMA Male connector on one end and an SMA Female connector on the other. Both connectors feature color-coded strain relief bands for easy end identification. The female end uses a gold-plated SMA connector; the male end is a standard nickel-body SMA plug.

Applications

SMA coaxial jumper cables like this one are standard interconnects in RF and microwave systems operating from DC through several GHz. They are commonly used to connect antennas to transceivers, route signals between RF test instruments (spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers), and link components on RF bench setups and prototype boards. The SMA connector is a 50-ohm threaded interface widely used in laboratory, telecommunications, defense, and wireless communications equipment. RG174-type cables are lightweight and flexible, making them well suited for bench use, equipment interconnection, and short RF runs where low bulk and easy routing matter. Times Microwave Systems is a well-known U.S. manufacturer of coaxial cable assemblies and RF interconnects serving military, aerospace, and commercial RF markets.

Condition: Used
This Times Microwave SMA-Male to SMA-Female coaxial RF cable has been inspected and is in good used condition. It was pulled from a working environment where it was previously in active use. The cable jacket shows light surface wear consistent with normal use, and both SMA connectors — the gold-plated female end and the nickel male end — appear clean and undamaged. Color-coded strain relief bands are intact on both ends. Please view our photo set and contact us if you have any questions. Please note: We have multiple units in stock — yours may not be the one shown in the photos, however, it will be similar in condition and function.
