This is a used lot of four Thermoid Cobra 1.25-inch hose end couplings and fittings designed for fuel oil delivery and bulk fluid transfer applications. The lot includes a mix of brass-body and aluminum-body couplings of varying end configurations. Tube and cover construction follows Thermoid's Cobra line specifications: NBR (nitrile rubber) tube and NBR/PVC cover, both rated RMA Class A for petroleum-based fluid service.

Applications
Thermoid Cobra hose couplings are used in fuel oil delivery, bulk petroleum transfer, and related industrial fluid-handling systems. The NBR (nitrile rubber) tube and cover construction makes these compatible with petroleum-based oils and fuels, where resistance to hydrocarbon swelling is required. RMA Class A ratings indicate suitability for full-oil-immersion service per Rubber Manufacturers Association standards. These types of couplings are standard in heating oil delivery trucks, bulk fuel transfer stations, and industrial oil distribution lines — anywhere a quick-connect or threaded hose end is needed on a petroleum service hose. The -20°F to 180°F service range covers outdoor cold-weather delivery use through normal heated-building return-line temperatures.
This lot of four Thermoid Cobra 1.25 in fuel oil hose couplings and fittings has been inspected and shows typical wear consistent with prior service use. The brass-body couplings show surface tarnish and minor oxidation; one brass coupling shows green oxidation around the sealing surface bore. The two aluminum-body fittings show heavier use wear, and one aluminum coupling has visibly degraded seal or gasket material at the hose end — the rubber/gasket remnants are fragmented and would require replacement before use. Internal bores on the brass couplings appear intact with poppet mechanisms visible.
