This is a keyboard wedge adapter cable designed to connect Symbol LT 1880 barcode scanners to IBM AT and IBM XT computer systems. The cable bridges DIN connectors to RJ45 termination.

Applications

This adapter cable was used to integrate Symbol barcode scanners into legacy IBM AT and XT computer systems via keyboard wedge interface. The DIN-to-RJ45 configuration accommodates both vintage and transitional networking architectures. Cable only—no power supply included.
