This is a pair of Swagelok FM Series flexible stainless steel braided hoses, part number SS-FM4PM2PM2-12. Each hose features a stainless steel wire-over-braid construction with 1/8" male NPT end fittings crimped with stainless ferrules. The FM Series is Swagelok's line of flexible metal hose assemblies designed for applications where a rigid tube connection is not practical — the braided outer jacket protects the inner corrugated core and provides mechanical strength while allowing movement, vibration absorption, and flexible routing.

Applications
Swagelok FM Series flexible hose assemblies are used across semiconductor fabrication, vacuum chamber systems, analytical instrumentation, and general process gas and fluid lines. The stainless steel construction makes them well suited for high-temperature vacuum service, medium-pressure corrosive media, and applications where permeation of the carrier fluid through the hose wall must be prevented — something that can be a concern with polymer-lined hose in sensitive gas handling systems.
