The EPS system addresses this by combining digital error rate measurement — checking block error rate (BLER), C1/C2 errors, and related disc quality parameters — with the Yokogawa TA120F's precision jitter measurement capability, which analyzes channel-bit clock timing deviation on the disc's RF signal to confirm it falls within the disc specification window. The Yokogawa TA120F supports BI-PHASE, 3TCD, and DtoC DVD signal standards and connects to the host PC via GP-IB (IEEE-488) for automated data logging.
