Applications
The 300-1301-03 is a hot-swap power supply module designed for Sun Microsystems server and high-availability workstation platforms from the late 1990s to early 2000s. Sun used modular, load-shared power architectures in systems such as the Ultra Enterprise and Netra server lines, where individual power modules could be replaced without powering down the chassis. The dual load rating (Load I / Load II) reflects Sun's redundant PSU configurations, where each module handles a defined share of system load. This module is commonly sought as a spare or replacement for maintaining aging Sun infrastructure still in service in legacy data center and lab environments. The universal 100–240V input makes it compatible with both North American and international AC mains.
