Nupro SS-4H Stainless Steel Angle Needle Valve w/ CF DN40 2-3/4 Conflat Flange
This is a Nupro SS-4H stainless steel angle needle valve assembled with a 2-3/4" OD (DN40) CF Conflat vacuum flange. The SS-4H is a compact, all-metal-body angle needle valve designed for precise manual flow control in high-vacuum and ultra-high-vacuum (UHV) systems. The valve body and stem are stainless steel construction, and the unit connects to the flange assembly via a short stainless steel tube and compression fitting. A green anodized knurled knob provides smooth manual actuation.

Applications
Nupro SS-4H angle needle valves are widely used in high-vacuum and ultra-high-vacuum systems for venting, roughing, gas dosing, and flow isolation. The compact angle-body design allows the valve to be mounted directly on a CF Conflat flange port of a vacuum chamber, turbo pump manifold, or vacuum line, with the valve stem accessible from the side. CF Conflat flanges with the 2-3/4" (DN40) bolt pattern are a standard interface in UHV work — common on research vacuum chambers, sputter deposition systems, CVD reactors, surface science instruments, and semiconductor process equipment. The Nupro (now Swagelok) SS-4H has been a standard valve in laboratory and industrial vacuum plumbing for decades and remains in active use today. This type of assembly is a practical way to add a manually-actuated valve port directly to a CF flange face without additional adapters.
This Nupro SS-4H Stainless Steel Angle Needle Valve with CF DN40 Conflat Flange has been inspected and appears to be in good used condition. The valve body and flange are clean with no visible cracks or damage. The green knurled knob turns freely. There is light surface oxidation on the flange face and minor handling marks consistent with normal lab use. It has not been powered up or tested at our facility, but it was pulled from a working vacuum system environment where it was previously in use.
