Applications

The Sony Trinitron line was one of the most widely respected CRT television series of the 1980s and 1990s, known for its bright, sharp aperture-grille picture tube. The KV-32S25 was a large-screen consumer and institutional TV from the mid-1990s era, commonly used in living rooms, conference rooms, classrooms, and training facilities. The presence of a PictureTel sticker suggests this unit served in a corporate or institutional video conferencing setup, where large-screen CRT monitors were paired with PictureTel codecs for early videoconferencing. Today, large CRT televisions like this are sought by retro gaming enthusiasts (for their zero-lag display and compatibility with classic consoles), AV collectors, and those needing a period-correct display for vintage equipment. S-Video input makes this set particularly compatible with Super Nintendo, N64, PlayStation 1, and other 1990s-era consoles that benefit from S-Video output.
