Raw unencapsulated CIGS solar cell string manufactured by Solopower. Flexible stainless steel substrate rated 40–50W output, designed for custom panel assembly, research, and experimentation without factory encapsulation or mounting hardware.

These strings were staged for panel production at the Solopower Portland factory and were left as work in progress when Solopower closed and liquidated in 2019. They have been tested and confirmed to produce power. The string is unencapsulated and has no frame or junction box.
