Applications

Heavy-duty metal outlet strips like the SL Waber UL800CB-6 are standard equipment in server rooms, data centers, lab benches, industrial control panels, and audio/video equipment racks where a reliable, multi-outlet power distribution point is needed. The all-metal housing makes these strips more durable than consumer-grade plastic power strips, and the single master switch allows all connected equipment to be powered on or off simultaneously. SL Waber products were widely used in commercial and institutional settings — offices, university labs, broadcast facilities, and equipment rooms — where UL listing and robust construction are required. Units of this type remain in everyday use wherever multiple pieces of equipment need to share a single 15-amp circuit.
