Applications

Pneumatic crimping and cutting tools like the Simonds Squeeze-Eze SP-004-25S are used in manufacturing, wire harness assembly, electrical and electronics production, and machine shop environments where consistent jaw force is required. They are commonly used for crimping terminals, connectors, and ferrules onto wire and cable, as well as cutting soft stock. Compared to manual hand tools, pneumatic power packs reduce operator fatigue during repetitive crimping cycles and deliver more uniform crimp quality across large production runs. The interchangeable jaw system allows a single power pack to be used with multiple die sets, making it a versatile tool in shops that work with a range of connector or terminal types.
