The Schuco S 180-SPU-4 is a standard full-size photovoltaic module suitable for rooftop, ground-mount, and rack-mounted solar installations. At 180W / 24V, it is commonly used in residential and small commercial grid-tied systems, off-grid battery charging setups, and RV or marine solar arrays requiring a 24V nominal configuration. The 600V maximum system voltage rating makes it compatible with typical string inverter configurations used in North American residential and commercial installations. Schuco (now part of the Viessmann Group) produced the SPU series as part of their solar building integration line during the 2000s and early 2010s — these panels remain in active use in both permanent installations and replacement/expansion applications. The front cell surface shows some surface-level marks and light debris visible in the close-up photos — consistent with prior outdoor use — but the cells and frame appear structurally sound with no cracks or broken cells observed.
