Schreiber Engineering 100AC Air Cooled Water Chiller 20 GPM 1 Ton 230VAC
The Schreiber Engineering 100AC is a self-contained, air cooled recirculating water chiller with a 1-ton (12,000 BTU/hr) refrigeration capacity and a 1/2 HP fluid circulating pump. It runs on 230VAC single-phase power and is mounted on casters for easy repositioning on a shop floor. This unit has been tested at our facility and successfully chilled room-temperature water to 55°F (13°C) in a closed-loop test. Applications

This Schreiber Engineering 100AC Air Cooled Water Chiller has been tested at our facility and successfully chilled room-temperature water to 55°F (13°C) in a short closed-loop test. The compressor and water pump both operate, and their respective power switches function correctly. There are several known defects to be aware of: the front panel temperature gauge is broken and stuck at its lowest position; the front panel indicator lights for the compressor and water pump do not illuminate; and there is significant rust on the exterior of the reservoir tank. The tank is water-tight despite the external rust. The exterior cabinet shows overall wear including paint scuffs and dents consistent with age and industrial use.
