This Rudolph Research AutoEL 135A5C Automatic Ellipsometer is being sold AS-IS for parts or repair. The unit does not power on; broken fuses were found on the rear panel and have not been replaced. We were unable to test the instrument further, and no functionality is guaranteed. Cosmetically, the instrument shows age-appropriate wear consistent with a unit manufactured in 1980 — the cream/off-white painted housing has minor scuffs, chips, and soiling across the base, housing panels, and optical arm assemblies. The embossed Rudolph Research/AutoEL nameplate on the base is intact. The hexadecimal keypad and front-panel controls appear physically complete. The integrated top-mounted strip printer mechanism is present and visible. The rear panel includes an IEEE-488/GPIB-style interface connector. The rating plate (model 135A5C, serial 7156, 115V 50/60Hz 130W, manufactured August 12, 1980) is present and legible.
