Applications

Used in telephone carrier and wireline telecom infrastructure for signal amplification and power distribution. The Wescom 401 amplifier modules supported long-distance voice transmission on copper wire line networks. Typical installations included central office environments and intermediate repeater stations throughout Bell System and independent telephone company networks during the analog telecom era.

This Rockwell 8548-00 Power Supply with two Wescom 401 Wire Line Amplifiers has been inspected and is in good condition. The unit shows typical wear consistent with previous use — some minor scuffing on the chassis panels — but the labels, connectors, and output selector switch are all intact and legible.
