The RFS CELLFLEX LCF158-50JA is a 1-5/8" diameter 50-ohm flexible coaxial transmission cable designed for high-power RF applications in satellite communications and broadcast earth station systems. CELLFLEX is RFS's line of corrugated-jacket flexible coaxial cable, offering the low-loss characteristics of a rigid hard-line in a form factor that can be routed around obstacles and through conduit. Applications
The RFS CELLFLEX LCF158-50JA is used as a transmission line between high-power RF amplifiers or transmitters and the antenna feed system in satellite communications earth stations, broadcast uplink facilities, and military/government satcom ground terminals. The 1-5/8" EIA flange interface is an industry-standard connection found on high-power amplifiers (HPAs), waveguide runs, antenna feed networks, and diplexers operating in frequency bands from L-band through Ku-band and beyond. At this diameter, CELLFLEX cable handles kilowatt-level transmit power levels while maintaining flexibility for routing through equipment rooms and antenna towers — an advantage over rigid hard-line coax in installations where bends and routing changes are required. This RFS CELLFLEX LCF158-50JA 1-5/8" EIA flange coaxial RF cable was pulled from a working satcom earth station and is in good used condition. Both EIA flange connectors appear intact with no visible damage to the inner conductors, dielectric, or flange faces. The corrugated black outer jacket shows normal surface wear consistent with installation and removal, and the model markings on the jacket are clearly legible.
