Applications
The RCA X26005EB is a large-screen CRT television from the early 1990s, a period when 30-inch sets represented the upper end of consumer TV sizing before flat-panel displays became mainstream. Sets like this one are still sought after by retro gaming enthusiasts — CRT televisions produce a naturally scanlined image that many vintage console games (NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, PlayStation 1) were specifically designed to display on, and no modern flat panel fully replicates that look. They are also used in period-accurate home theater restorations, film/video production sets requiring authentic 1990s props, and by collectors of vintage consumer electronics. RCA was a dominant American television brand of this era, with sets assembled in Indianapolis, Indiana.
This RCA X26005EB 30-inch CRT Color Television has been inspected and appears to be in good used condition. The fifth photo shows the TV powered on and displaying a color image, confirming it produces a picture. The dark gray housing shows normal wear consistent with age — light scuffing on the cabinet exterior is visible. Front-panel controls (Audio, Video, Setup, Channel, Volume, Power) are all present and intact. This set was manufactured in March 1990 and shows cosmetic aging typical of a unit from that era.
