Applications
IDE hard drives of this generation were standard in Dell desktop computers and generic ATX/AT systems from the late 1990s through early 2000s. They connect via standard PATA ribbon cables and require both 5V and 12V power. Compatible with legacy systems that use 3.5" IDE drives; not compatible with modern SATA or NVMe systems without an adapter.
