Applications
Polycom SoundStation systems use modular microphone pods that connect to the base unit via these proprietary cables. The 25-foot length of the 08340-001 is designed for larger conference rooms where standard-length cables fall short, giving meeting participants flexibility in microphone placement. The brown connector color-codes this cable as a Polycom OEM accessory, distinguishing it from standard telephone or Ethernet cables. These extension cables are commonly used as replacements when original cables are lost or damaged, or as upgrades to extend reach in boardrooms and training spaces.
This Polycom 08340-001 25ft microphone cable has been inspected and appears to be in good used condition. The black cable is intact and coiled neatly, and the brown RJ connector is clean with no visible damage to the contacts or housing. Normal handling wear may be present.
