This is a used open-top rectangular polyethylene (poly) chemical mixing and storage tank mounted on a welded metal frame stand. The tank features one side outlet and one bottom outlet — both approximately 2 inches in diameter — and is suitable for chemical mixing, storage, or process liquid containment applications. No lid and no drip pan are included.

Applications

Polyethylene construction makes them resistant to a wide range of acids, bases, and solvents, which is why they are commonly used wherever corrosion resistance is needed. The side and bottom outlets allow gravity-fed drainage or connection to process plumbing. Tanks of this type are also used in agricultural chemical mixing, parts washing, and laboratory or pilot-plant processes. The included metal frame stand elevates the tank to allow clearance for the bottom drain fitting and for placement of containers or plumbing beneath the tank.
This used poly chemical mixing and storage tank has been pulled from a working industrial environment and is available for reuse. The tank body is structurally intact with no visible cracks. Interior walls and the floor of the tank show brownish chemical residue staining typical of prior chemical or liquid storage use. The exterior shows similar staining and surface discoloration around the outlet fittings. The side outlet fitting shows chemical buildup and the area of the metal stand beneath it has surface rust. Both outlet fittings appear intact and functional. The welded metal frame stand is included and shows surface rust consistent with warehouse/industrial use. There is no lid and no drip pan included.
