Description
Polaroid Laminex LX400 4-Lens Photo ID Camera Polacolor 669 Film ID Card
The Polaroid Laminex LX400 is a tabletop instant photo ID camera designed specifically for producing photo identification cards, badges, and credentials. Part of Polaroid's professional Laminex LX Series, it uses four lenses to capture a subject in a single exposure, producing multiple passport-style images on a single frame of Polaroid Polacolor 669 pack film. The top-mounted LCD control panel displays exposure settings, frame count, and a READY indicator, and the camera supports both color and black-and-white output modes via a selector on the front panel.

Applications
The Laminex LX Series cameras were purpose-built for institutional photo ID programs — used in schools, corporations, government agencies, hospitals, and security departments to produce ID badges and access credentials on-site and on demand. The four-lens design captures a full sheet of matched ID photos in one shot, which are then cut and laminated into finished cards. The LX400 works with Polaroid 669 pack film, which was widely available through professional photography suppliers and produced rich, dye-transfer instant prints suitable for laminated ID card applications. These systems were the industry standard for analog photo ID production through the 1990s and into the early 2000s, before digital ID card printing systems became common. They remain useful for organizations maintaining legacy ID programs, for collecting, or as a source of spare parts for other LX Series units.
This Polaroid Laminex LX400 4-Lens Photo ID Camera has been inspected and appears to be in good used condition. The green power button illuminates and the LCD panel displays READY, indicating the unit powers on. The camera body, desktop stand, and film door all appear intact with normal cosmetic wear consistent with previous use. The Laminex operator's manual (covering both 4-lens and 6-lens models) is included. No film is included. Please view our photo set and contact us if you have any questions.
