16-slot rackmount audio card chassis designed for broadcast television audio distribution within the Philips BTS RF-3000 system. Accommodates up to 16 BAA-3000 Audio DA (distribution amplifier) cards for signal routing and distribution in professional broadcast environments.

Applications

This chassis type was used in broadcast television facilities for professional audio signal distribution and amplification. The Philips BTS RF-3000 system provided modular audio routing capabilities for television production and transmission. Compatible exclusively with Philips BTS RF-3000 broadcast systems. Typically installed in broadcast control rooms and transmission facilities requiring multiple independent audio distribution channels.

This Philips BTS RF-3000A PA-3001A broadcast audio card chassis is being sold AS-IS for parts or repair. The unit powers on (DC indicator and power switch are present and visible in photos), but its overall functionality has not been verified, and it is not guaranteed to be operational. It comes populated with 16 BAA-3000 Audio DA cards (P/N B54-041714-001D), all of which are present in the slots and appear physically intact with no obvious damage to the PCBs. The chassis shows normal wear consistent with broadcast facility use — minor surface marks on the enclosure. The factory Philips Computrol test label is visible on the individual cards.
