Applications
Parker Hannifin's Gold Ring solenoid valves are two-way or three-way electrically operated valves widely used in industrial fluid and gas control systems. The cryogenic-rated version of this valve is designed for use with liquefied gases and low-temperature media such as liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, liquid argon, and similar cryogens, where standard elastomers and materials would fail at extreme cold. These valves are common in cryogenic storage and distribution systems, laboratory gas supply lines, semiconductor fabrication facilities, and industrial gas handling equipment. The open-frame coil design allows the solenoid to be replaced or re-engineered in the field without removing the valve body from the pipeline, which makes this series popular in installations where service access is limited. The brass valve body is intact with both port caps in place, and the black solenoid coil housing shows only light surface wear consistent with careful storage. The unit comes with its original Parker Fluidex Division installation and maintenance instructions sheet, which is in good readable condition.
