Applications

The KX-FPG371 is a home and small office (SOHO) all-in-one fax machine from the early-to-mid 2000s, an era when plain paper fax machines were rapidly displacing older thermal-roll models in consumer and small business settings. Units like this combined a dedicated fax line, a cordless phone, a digital answering system, and a basic copier — making them popular as single-device solutions for home offices that needed to receive and send faxes without a separate multifunction printer. The 2.4GHz cordless frequency was standard for cordless phones of this generation, offering improved range over the earlier 900MHz band. These machines are still used today in offices and businesses that maintain a traditional fax line for document transmission, legal correspondence, or healthcare-related paperwork where fax remains a required communication channel.
