Applications
This drive was used in legacy computer systems and industrial equipment from the 1990s and early 2000s. The 3.5-inch floppy format served as standard removable storage across personal computers, workstations, and specialized industrial control systems. The PAV 85 and PAV 8600 compatibility indicates use in specific commercial or industrial applications. Floppy drives of this type were used for software installation, data transfer, and system backup before CD-ROM and USB technologies became standard.
