Applications

The PCT-5500 connected via parallel port to Windows 3.1 through Windows 98-era systems and captured card images for OCR processing and contact management software. Typical applications included sales departments, HR offices, and executive assistants managing large volumes of business card data.

This Pacific Crest Technologies PCT-5500 CardGrabber business card scanner has been inspected and is in good condition. The scanner unit shows light surface wear typical of previously used equipment. All four software floppy disks (Update #2 / Release 1.0, Program Disk #1, Program Disk #2, and Program Disk #3) are present, along with the parallel cable. The retail box is included.
