Benchtop power supply designed to operate mercury and xenon arc lamps used in optical and spectroscopic instruments. Features integrated DC watt-meter with voltage and amperage scales, front-panel wattage selector, and electromechanical hours counter.

Applications

This Opti-Quip 1605 Mercury/Xenon Lamp Power Supply is being sold AS-IS for parts or repair. The unit does power on and the Watt-Meter needle responds when the Watt-Meter knob is adjusted, but no lamp ignition or other indicator lights activate during operation. We were unable to fully test this unit and cannot confirm whether it is missing internal components or whether it will function as intended. It may be missing parts. Cosmetically the unit shows normal wear consistent with lab use — the painted steel enclosure has some scuffs and marks typical of bench equipment. The rear multi-pin lamp connector, IEC power inlet, and other ports are present and visible. Sold strictly as-is with no functionality guarantee.
