Applications

Compact personal paper shredders like the PS-012A are used in home offices, small businesses, and desks where occasional document destruction is needed — particularly for sensitive paperwork such as bank statements, credit card offers, and personal correspondence. The 2-minute-on / 4-minute-off duty cycle is typical of entry-level shredders in this class, designed for light intermittent use rather than continuous high-volume shredding. This style of shredder became common in the late 1990s and 2000s as identity theft awareness grew and affordable home shredders entered the consumer market.
