This is a 24-port managed Ethernet switch blade designed for network connectivity in enterprise and telecom environments. The module supports 10/100 Mbps autosensing on all ports and connects via RJ-45 connectors.

Applications
This switch module was used in Nortel and Bay Networks chassis-based switching systems for local area network deployments. The 24-port configuration supported workgroup and departmental network segments in corporate environments. Modules of this type connected to compatible Nortel chassis systems and required appropriate power supplies and management cards for operation. Historically deployed in 1990s-2000s enterprise networks.
This Nortel / Bay Networks 5625 10/100 Autosensing Ethernet Switch (CL3104007) has been pulled from a working environment and inspected. The board is clean overall with normal wear consistent with light service use. The 24 RJ-45 ports along the front edge appear intact. The faceplate label showing all 24 port-status indicators is present and legible. The manufacture date label reads October 1998. This unit has not been bench-tested at our facility.
