Applications
The Newport FLW Q9000H belongs to a widely-used family of modular 1/8 DIN panel meters that were standard fixtures in industrial control panels, process automation systems, and laboratory instrumentation from the 1980s through the 2000s. The plug-in module architecture lets a single meter chassis accept different input types — frequency/rate, voltage, current, temperature — simply by swapping the front-end module. With the 96-30M1 frequency module installed, this unit is used to monitor AC line frequency, motor speed (via pulse input), flow rates, or any other pulse- or frequency-based process variable. Newport FLW panel meters are still actively used for panel replacement and retrofit applications in facilities that standardized on the DIN panel format, as well as in lab bench setups requiring a compact, direct-reading digital display.
This Newport FLW Q9000H Panel Frequency Meter has been inspected and appears to be in good used condition. The unit was pulled from a working environment where it was previously in service. The red LED display illuminates (visible in our photos), and the rear screw terminals are clean and intact. There is minor cosmetic wear typical of a used panel instrument.
