The NEC Dterm Series II was the digital telephone terminal designed for NEC's NEAX 2400 IMS, a mid-to-large enterprise PBX system widely deployed in corporate offices, hotels, hospitals, and campuses through the 1990s and into the 2000s. The NEAX 2400 platform had an extensive installed base, and Dterm Series II sets remain in demand as replacement handsets wherever these systems are still in service. They connect digitally to the NEAX 2400 cabinet over standard station wiring and are programmed through the PBX system software.
This NEC Dterm Series II 16-Button Phone (P/N 560150) has been inspected and appears to be in good used condition. The phone body is clean with light age-related yellowing typical of older office equipment. The keypad buttons and LCD display are intact with no visible cracks or damage. The unit has not been powered up or tested at our facility, but comes from a previous office environment where it was in use. The included NEC user guide and label inserts are present.
