Applications

Moviola editing stations were used extensively in film post-production for cutting, synchronizing, and reviewing 35mm prints. This model served professional editing suites, broadcast facilities, and film archives. The dual motor design allowed synchronized picture and sound review during editing workflows.

This Moviola UK-20-S/35 Magnasync 35mm Film Editing Review Station is being sold as-is for parts, repair, collection, or use as a prop. We are unable to test its functions, and it is not guaranteed to be operational in any way. Photos show significant cosmetic deterioration throughout: the viewing screen interior has heavy oxidation and paint loss, the lower power unit drawer contains the Magnasync Moviola 1800 power unit with electric tubes but shows substantial corrosion and debris accumulation inside, and the exterior paint shows chipping, scuffing, and rust on various panels. Toggle switches for the Light, Picturehead Motor, and Soundhead Motor are present, as are the MAG/OPT/TONE audio control knobs and the headphone jack. This item requires freight shipping or local pickup at our Southern California warehouse -- please contact us for a freight quote prior to purchasing.
