During our evaluation, the upper deck (Deck 1) played a VHS tape normally and the fast-forward and rewind functions worked. The lower deck (Deck 2) initially played a tape but then jammed, requiring manual tape extraction — the lower deck transport is faulty and the unit will need repair before it can be used reliably.
