Applications
The SpectraMax 250 is used for quantitative absorbance measurements in life science research and diagnostics. This Molecular Devices SpectraMax 250 Microplate Spectrophotometer has been powered and tested at our facility. During testing, the microplate drawer opened and closed correctly, the LCD screen illuminated and displayed functions as expected, and all front-panel buttons responded normally. No further instrument-level testing was conducted beyond these operational checks. The unit was pulled from a working laboratory environment where it had been actively in use. Cosmetically, the instrument is in good used condition — the off-white housing shows light surface wear consistent with lab use, and the front panel, keypad, and display area are clean and intact. The rear panel shows the IEC power inlet, a 25-pin D-sub interface port, and a mini-DIN port, all appearing undamaged. Please view our photo set and contact us if you have any questions.
