Applications

Dial indicators like the Mitutoyo 2805-10 are standard precision measurement tools used throughout machine shops, quality control labs, and calibration facilities. They are commonly mounted on surface plates, magnetic bases, or indicator stands to measure runout, flatness, parallelism, and part-to-part dimensional variation on machined components. The 0.0001" resolution makes this indicator well suited for close-tolerance inspection work where tenths-level accuracy is required. Mitutoyo dial indicators are widely used in automotive, aerospace, toolroom, and general precision manufacturing environments. This unit previously served in a calibration lab setting, as indicated by the Applied Magnetics TF Cal Lab sticker visible on the stem.

Condition: Used
This Mitutoyo 2805-10 Dial Indicator has been inspected and appears to be in good used condition. The dial face is clean and legible, with the hands intact and the bezel in good shape. The stem and body show minor wear consistent with normal use in a machine shop or calibration lab setting — photos show a calibration sticker from Applied Magnetics TF Cal Lab on the rear stem, indicating prior professional use. It has not been powered up or tested at our facility, but was pulled from a working calibration lab environment where it was previously in service. Please view our photo set and contact us if you have any questions.
