Applications

The Scepter handheld cell counter is designed for cell culture workflows in life science and biology research labs. It brings automated, impedance-based cell counting — previously requiring a benchtop instrument — into a portable, handheld device. Researchers use it to count mammalian cell cultures (CHO, HeLa, primary cells, and similar adherent or suspension cell types) quickly at the biosafety cabinet or bench without the need for a hemocytometer and manual counting.
