Applications
The Matrox G200 was a mid-range AGP graphics chip from the late 1990s, part of Matrox's Millennium G200 series. It was well-regarded for its clean 2D image quality and multi-monitor capability, and was commonly found in workstations running Windows 95, 98, NT 4.0, and Windows 2000. The G200's MSDP (Multi-Screen Display Port) variant — as indicated by the G2+/MSDP/8C identifier on this card — supported Matrox's DualHead multi-monitor technology, allowing a second display to be driven from the same card via an add-on connector. The companion Philips 763-04 TV tuner card adds analog RF tuning and S-Video/composite capture capability, pairing with the video card via the ribbon cable to enable TV-on-PC and video capture workflows that were popular in the Pentium II and Pentium III era. This set is suited to vintage PC enthusiasts, collectors, and hobbyists maintaining period-correct late-1990s Windows systems.
This Matrox 844-00 G200 AGP video card has been tested at our facility and is in good working condition. The Philips 763-04 PCI TV tuner card was inspected and appears to be in good condition as well. Both cards show light surface wear consistent with prior use — typical for equipment of this era — but no cracks, missing components, or significant cosmetic damage is observed. The set includes the Matrox 844-00 AGP card, the Philips 763-04 PCI tuner card, and the interconnecting ribbon cable. Please review our photos and contact us if you have any questions.
