The Marathon MP02P-73 is an air powered double diaphragm pump (AODD) made by Marathon Pump Co., configured as Type TTP0-P100. It uses compressed air to alternately flex two diaphragms, drawing fluid in on one side while expelling it on the other — a design that handles viscous, abrasive, and chemically aggressive fluids without the need for seals or electrical power at the pump head. The body is constructed of natural polypropylene for broad chemical compatibility.

Applications
Air operated double diaphragm (AODD) pumps like the Marathon MP02P-73 are used throughout industrial, chemical processing, and manufacturing facilities for transferring fluids that would damage or corrode conventional centrifugal pumps. This Marathon MP02P-73 Air Powered Double Diaphragm Pump has been inspected and appears to be in good used condition. The polypropylene pump body is intact with no cracks visible; the green diaphragm housings and black air valve center section appear complete and undamaged. The attached brass ball valve and air inlet fitting show surface rust and oxidation consistent with prior use. Some staining and discoloration is visible on the upper manifold area.
