It provides parallel, serial, and game port interfaces via a single ISA slot, making it a compact solution for adding or restoring standard I/O connectivity on legacy PC systems. The card is marked "AT-I/O MADE IN TAIWAN R.O.C." on the PCB silkscreen.

Applications

ISA multi-I/O cards like the Magitronic AT-I/O were standard expansion hardware in IBM PC XT and AT systems during the mid-to-late 1980s. They allowed a single ISA slot to deliver all three of the essential legacy interfaces: a parallel port for printers, a serial (RS-232) port for modems and peripherals, and a 15-pin game port for joysticks. These cards are still sought after today for vintage PC restoration, retrocomputing projects, and maintaining aging industrial or embedded systems that rely on the 8-bit ISA bus. Compatible with any machine using an 8-bit ISA slot, including IBM PC, XT, AT, and the wide range of DOS-era compatibles from the 1980s and early 1990s.
