Applications
The Lucent Merlin Legend is a key telephone system (KSU-based PBX) introduced by AT&T and carried forward under the Lucent Technologies brand after the 1996 AT&T/Lucent split. The Merlin Legend was widely deployed throughout the 1990s and into the 2000s in small-to-mid-size businesses as an on-premises telephone switching system, supporting analog and digital station cards, voice mail integration, and automated attendant features. These housing covers are replacement parts for the main Merlin Legend cabinet — the front cover provides the branded face panel, while the top cover encloses and ventilates the top of the KSU. They are commonly needed when refurbishing or rehousing an existing Merlin Legend system, or when a cover has been lost or damaged over years of service. Many Merlin Legend systems remain in active use at smaller businesses that have not yet migrated to VoIP or hosted phone services.
This Lucent 156700 / 151500 Merlin Legend PBX front and top cover set has been inspected and is in good used condition. All plastic mounting clips are intact and engage correctly. The covers show normal surface wear consistent with prior installation but are free of cracks or breaks. Please view our photo set and contact us if you have any questions.
